Following the successful revamp of the California State Parks website, we proposed an advanced AI-powered itinerary builder designed to transform trip planning. This initiative aimed to make exploring parks more intuitive, exciting, and cost-effective, while encouraging visitors to discover lesser-known destinations.
As a UX designer, I played a crucial role in integrating AI to offer personalized trip suggestions based on user preferences and historical data, fostering deeper engagement and creating tailored, enjoyable experiences.

Many visitors tend to frequent only a few well-known parks, creating overcrowding and leaving others underexplored. Our challenge was to create a solution that would motivate visitors to discover hidden gems, explore diverse park offerings, and make trip planning effortless.
